I... read more was mostly amazed by the hospitality of the owner of the camp Husain ji, the way he was giving personal attention to every guest, the way he was dealing with sudden imprompt issues faced by few guests, and the way he still remained calm. Their were all basic amenities available in the room, including attach washroom. As tents do not have solid wooden doors, I was still surprised observing the way how staff used to ask from outside, before entering the tent. They never entered any tent, in the absence of the guest. Our privacy and security was not compromised. Room ambiance was nice, completely traditional. There were arrangements, in case of any water issues, or power outage, which can naturally happen, as this is in the midst of a desert area. m I had multiple requests in my package, as I had midnight train from Jaisalmer, after checking out from the camp in afternoon. Usually owners do not worry about our requirements, once we leave their accommodation and full payment is done. But Mr Hussain ji himself their stay was healthy, without any trouble. My father loved the traditional performances, and my mother loved desert safari, the most. The only one thing I missed here was bon fire, asI was expecting it much. I personally would recommend to come and visit this place, and have a clear conversation before you visit about your needs. All will be taken care.

Was welcomed with a complementary chai with which I sat down and soaked in the views. Dancers came over and gave us an enthralling performance. The camel ride was extremely fun and again I felt in very safe hands so could just focus on enjoying the ride. Wow couldn't believe how big the camel was!! The little boy who led the camel and I around was very sweet and tried to speak to me in Hindi to which sadly I couldn't reply. There was the option of buying a beer if I wanted and doing an adrenaline-inducing jeep ride or parasailing experience if I so desired. Was a reasonable price and Hussain was easy-going and lovely to talk to. Would absolutely recommend Moon Star to anyone interested in Sam Sand Dunes! More

I truly recommend the overnight at the desert. It was so much fun, Hussain cooked for us and it was delicious plus the sky at night was amazing!
He really cared about us, so go with him no doubt he’ll make sure you have a good time.
